Located at 1930 meters above sea level at the foot of the summit of Bellecôte in the Savoie, a charming family resort welcomes winter sports enthusiasts since 1974. The Plagne Bellecôte is located in the heart of the Plagne, a vast ski area 200 km of slopes, most of which are located at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters, which guarantees exceptional snow conditions. Beginners, experienced skiers and snowboarders are all charmed by the beauty of the mountain scenery as they descend the slopes.
If you feel an adventurous soul, know that the summit of Bellecôte, which rises to 3414 meters of altitude, hides many secrets. Since 2005, a cave of ice dug in the glacier of the Chiaupe shelters very singular characters. Impressive carvings carved in the ice inhabit this surprising place. Marmots, birds of prey and other animals await you for an amazing visit in summer or winter.
A stay in Savoie is an incredible opportunity to discover the traditional Savoyard dishes. Beyond the famous raclette and fondue, the region has a lot to offer from a gastronomic point of view. Discover polenta, which exists in different forms in several French regions as well as in Switzerland and Italy. It is generally in the form of a thick cake made from semolina or corn flour. Its Savoyard version is cooked in water and often accompanied by butter, local cheeses (there is no lack !) or tomato sauce.

Once satisfied, a must visit at the «Spitting Feathers» for a friendly evening. This charming pub run by a British (Tim) transports you to England. You can taste some of the most popular dishes of our friends in the UK, such as curry or fish & chips. It is the perfect place for sports fans who will be able to enjoy the two televisions broadcasting all the major sporting events. The bar also offers board games as well as free wifi for those who prefer a quiet evening with the family.
