Nestled on the banks of the Tarn, the green resort of Trébas-les-Bains lies in the valley of the Tarn, upstream from Ambialet and Albi "La Rouge" (35 kilometres). An ideal destination for lovers of outdoor and quiet holidays, Trebas enjoys a climate conducive to relaxation and a wide variety of outdoor activities.
A link between the Tarn and the Aveyron, Trébas benefits from an ideal location for a visit of these two departments, known for their waterways favourable to nautical activities. The loop linking Albi to Trébas, 44 kilometers long, is perfect to discover all the singularity of the relief of the Tarn : passing by the episcopal city of Albi, the Saut de Sabo, Saint-Juéry, the priory of Ambialet and the nautical base of Trébas, this stroll will lead you through the most beautiful sites of the sector. The 7 km long Sentier des Sources is the most popular route in this green resort. Along this walk through the woods and green banks, you will discover all the facets of Trébas and its river : a relaxing stroll during which you can also enjoy the calm of the river to cool off on the banks of the Tarn ! Because if of its thermal past Trebas-les-Bains keeps only the name, water is however in the heart of the life of the village. For the irrepressible desires of diving in the water, heading for the beach of Trébas and its nautical base : theatre of multiple idleness sessions, this place is adored by amateurs of white water bathing and families.
As for sports activities, in addition to swimming in white water and hiking, you can enjoy the boulodrome of the leisure centre, football, basketball, tennis and handball fields... You can also kayak, fish, picnic and go for long tanning sessions under the trebassian sun.

Le Verger de Trébas for its apples, pears, quinces (very attractive prices and quality fruit for direct sale). The bar-restaurant "La Légende" in Plaisance (not far away) where you will eat during the week for lunch with the Aveyronnais welcome, in a very good atmosphere, for cheap and with fresh products from the region. Plan the walk afterwards, as the meal is very copious.

La "Table de Joséphine" is a very pleasant and cheap restaurant (14 € for lunch) in Montclar. For the hikes : - The waterfalls of Arifat in the Tarn (loop of 3 hours) 50 minutes drive from Trebas. - The trail of the cabins in Ambialet (loop of 2h30) at 15 minutes drive from Trebas.
