A small enclave full of authenticity next to Port Grimaud, Port Cogolin is a privileged holiday resort for all sea lovers. Lake city attached to the pretty Provencal village of Cogolin, it faces the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, always adored by boaters and holidaymakers at the foot of the sea.

Port Cogolin is the eldorado of amateur and experienced yachtsmen with its 4 basins with 1300 rings. Only 7 kilometres from the very popular seaside resort of Saint-Tropez, Port Cogolin enjoys a reputation that is more accessible and family-friendly than its neighbour, whose clientele is very wealthy. Authentic, Port Cogolin seduces a public of initiates, and vacationers curious to visit its magnificent port : far from the noise of the big cities, it is the perfect place for beautiful walks or bike rides to the sound of the lapping boats moored. With its flowered residences bordering it, its green alleys and its picturesque side, it counts among the most pleasant ports of the French Riviera. While walking in the marina, you will certainly see its very pretty "Marina Beach". A small stretch of sand at the gates of Port Grimaud, it has the reputation of being a family beach and relatively little frequented, which is rare enough along the Mediterranean Sea to be highlighted. You will find a small private beach, two restaurants with your feet in the water as well as a beach volleyball court and a water sports centre. There are many water activities on this beach, and during your holidays in Port Cogolin, you will have the opportunity to sail, kayak, sup, optimist, windsurf, catamaran and paddle. And with its view on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the beaches of Sainte-Maxime, it is the perfect place for relaxing moments !

Since it often takes more than an hour to reach Saint-Tropez and the surrounding villages by car, we advise you to rent a bike to enjoy the Cogolinois landscapes serenely while strolling along the coast. There are many hiking routes to start in Cogolin : it will be possible for you to take an excursion through the Moorish forest, the coastal paths, Grimaud, Gassin, the surrounding vineyards, Le Plan de la Tour and the entire Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The "Sentier des Crêtes" will take the most sporty to the heights of the Massif des Maures, while the "Sentier botanique" and the "parcours de découverte" will delight families. Also, a historical tour of the most beautiful monuments of Cogolin is not to be missed : every Thursday at 10 am, this free guided tour will allow you in one hour to see all the most beautiful buildings of the town, from its Clock Tower to the fountains and chapels that dot its streets, without forgetting its church Saint-Sauveur-Saint-Étienne, as well as the history of its beautiful porches, carved sometimes in the basalt, sometimes in the serpentine.

Finally, how can you spend a wonderful holiday in Port Cogolin without having taken a trip to sea ? There are many excursions by boat or catamaran from Port Cogolin : visit the pelagos sanctuary to observe sperm whales, whales, blue dolphins and pilot whales, sailing course in the creeks, discovery of Port-Cros and Porquerolles, but also Ramatuelle, La Croix Valmer, Le Lavandou, l'Île du Levant, Cannes or Antibes... You can choose !
