La Tranche-sur-Mer is located in the Vendée department on the Côte de Lumière. It faces the island of Ré. Its 13 km of fine sandy beaches are dotted with an aquatic center, several surf spots and a body of water reserved for initiation to sailing. Unfortunately no cultural visit because closed because of Covid, but beautiful walks to do in the surroundings.

The restaurant "Pizzarico" is open late by holidaymakers who arrive late on site. Moreover, the pizzas are very well topped and excellent. Caddy Love Confectionery is perfect for the youngest snack. The churros and waffles are excellent.

Pleasant village centre by the sea. Numerous bicycle paths and beautiful beaches. Close to Les Sables d'Olonne, Clémenceau's house and other sites.
