Just below Épinal, along the course of the Moselle, Saint-Nabord is ideally located for a green holiday. Between mountains and lakes, nature and culture, it is the perfect place to put your bags down to fill up on fresh air and dreamy panoramas.

22 kilometres from Épinal and about 30 minutes from Gérardmer, Saint-Nabord is on the edge of the Charmes Bog Regional Nature Reserve. In the Vosges department, in the Grand-Est region, Saint-Nabord runs along the Moselle for more than 14 kilometres, and is wooded on more than 2000 hectares in the heart of the Vosges massif. A land of adventure, Saint-Nabord's history is undeniably linked to that of water. In addition to the Moselle, you will find the waters of the Augronne river, a dozen streams and ponds such as the glacial pond of the Demoiselle, the Prairie du Vouau, or those of the Prêtres, Huchère and Xenois.

Located in a natural setting where nature is king, the town of Saint-Nabord is undoubtedly a place where it is good to relax. It is therefore quite natural that hiking is the main activity of any stay in the heart of the mountains, to enjoy the idyllic setting of the village surrounded by vegetation. Forest walks, mountain bike rides, picnic breaks at the foot of the ponds, discovery of the biodiversity thanks to marked paths, everything here invites the visitor to put his nose outside and enjoy nature! And there are many sites to see in the area: the Gué du Saut waterfall, the Faymont waterfall, the Villerain pond, not forgetting the Montagne des Lamas, the Gorges de Crosery, or the Grand-Est Waterjump on the Moselotte lake, which is sure to please lovers of water sports and thrills. The Roche des Cuveaux, and the view from the Tour de Mérelle overlooking Lake Gérardmer, are places not to be missed by those who love mountain walks and dreamy panoramas!

For a nice relaxing break, we recommend that you take a trip to Plombières-les-Bains, 15 minutes south of the village: this historic spa is the oldest spa in the Vosges and a must for anyone taking the waters. In addition to targeted cures, you can find treatments for all desires and needs.

Finally, canoeing on the Moselle, and snowshoeing and ski touring sessions at the ski resort of La Bresse (36 kilometres away) will complete your stay in the heart of the Vosges mountains.
