After these city escapades, continue your exploration of the Vosges by discovering its innumerable natural sites and its many small cities of character. In particular, explore the Route des Crêtes, the Lakes Valley and climb to the top of the Grand Ballon. Then go to Remiremont to admire its fabulous abbey district, to Gérardmer for the beauty of its lake, to Domrémy-la-Pucelle to visit Joan of Arc's birthplace. Also visit the ancient copper mines of the Dukes of Lorraine near Le Thillot and attend a performance in the famous Théâtre du Peuple in Bussang.
