At the Museum of Salt and Sea, an exhibition of objects related to this industry pays tribute to the hard work of the sailors that allowed to develop Torrevieja. Every summer since 1955, the International Competition of habaneras and polyphony highlights the Havanese, these songs brought back by the sailors who returned from Cuba.
