This Spanish seaside resort of the Costa Blanca has been a favorite destination for holiday lovers fond of sun and sea It is part of Teulada, a town inhabited since prehistoric times and is famous for its wine culture and its strong maritime activity.

The charm of the Costa Blanca is intrinsically linked to its rich and eventful past, especially due to its geographical position which made it an ideal place to watch the sea. Moraira is no exception. La Vila, the historical heart (formerly a fortified town), offers a real journey through time through its streets surrounded by buildings of various eras and architectural styles. The magnificent Fortress Church of St. Catherine Martyre brings us back to a time when even the church had to protect the people. Originally built in the 16th century, it subsequently underwent numerous enlargements that made it timeless and unique.

The castle of Moraira, built in the 18th century, overlooks the Ampolla beach, which is very popular with holidaymakers. Scattered around the building, the remains of other buildings demonstrate that life was, at another time, organized around the castle.

But, for holiday makers, Moraira is above all an unparalleled coastline bathed by the sun nearly 300 days a year. Whether for sunbathing or for water sports, this little piece of Valencian coast satisfies everyone. It is the ideal place to indulge in scuba diving or snorkeling (palm rides, snorkeling). Discover sub-aquatic fauna and flora in order to discover as close as possible a peaceful and resplendent environment.

Valencian gastronomy, varied and colorful, will delight the finest gourmets. In Moraira, the must-see rendezvous is in Satari's restaurant. Very popular with locals, vacationers fall each year under the spell of its exquisite dishes. Between Mediterranean and international cuisine, the restaurant also offers vegetarian options to satisfy all its visitors. On its terrace, enjoy the mild Mediterranean climate in a welcoming atmosphere and an enchanting setting.

Do not shop at the Carrefour Market but go a little further towards Moraira and do it at the Pepe supermarket.
