Located in the centre of the island of Mallorca, Llubi is a small and relaxing town, perfect for stays under the legendary Balearic sun.

About fifteen kilometres from the coast of Alcudia Bay, Llubi is a small traditional village, full of customs and terribly charming. Very little touristic, Llubi is made up of a picturesque city centre made of beautiful houses made of light stone. From Plaça de la Carretera to the Hermitage del Sant Crist, everything is done on foot. The parish church of Sant Felui is an essential part of your stay: built in the 17th century, it takes place in the heart of the city. From the top of its bell tower, breathtaking views of the Serra de Tramuntana await the lucky visitors. Also visit its windmills, the Son Ramis district, or even Vinagrella: probably the most famous residence in Llubi, it impresses with its high defensive tower, its extensive vineyards and its magnificent Renaissance chapel, appreciated for its splendid decor and sundial.

Surrounded by greenery, the municipality of Llubi is the perfect place for relaxing walks, especially during excursions along the Vinagreta stream that connects the village to the Natural Park of s'Albufera de Mallorca and the Mediterranean.

Do not hesitate during this stay to rent a car to go and meet the splendours of the island, located only a few steps from Llubi. The main massif of the island of Mallorca, the Serra de Tamuntana is a real paradise for hiking fans: located in the northwest of the island, this paradise made of greenery and winding roads is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. From vertiginous forests to indigo coloured creeks, this natural jewel is definitely worth a visit. You can challenge the steep slopes of Puig Major, the highest peak in Spain, or opt for a kayak tour of the coastline, for a dazzling visit with your arms.

After all these sporting activities, how about a gourmet break to discover the island's rich flavours? The sweet beaks will gladly throw themselves on the "ensaimada", the most famous of the local specialities. Accompanied of course by a "chocolate caliente" or "café leche", it is a delight! Lovers of salty flavours will enjoy the "sobrassada", a kind of chorizo, another emblem of this beautiful Balearic island. Also try "Llonguet", "coca de patata", "Mantanza", "pica-pica", "gato mallorqui", "frito maillorqui", traditional empanadas and "sopes mallorquines".

Finally, for those who want to dive into the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, head for Port d'Alcudia, Betlem, Son Serra de Marina or Can Picafort, to enjoy the beauty of the Mallorcan coast.
