Welcome to Sants, former industrial and agricultural district of the city of Barcelona. Due to its size and history, it is one of the most important districts of the Catalan capital. Situated between the districts of Montjuic and the Corts, the inhabitants of the district of Sants proudly announce the colour of their love for Catalonia : thus, you will see many red and gold flags, and flags of FC Barcelona !

Known for its working class past, the industrial heritage of the district is still visible today. A small and pleasant village in the big city, Barcelona metro station Sants is the heart of the district, but also one of the largest stations in Barcelona. Well located, the district is close to the various attractions of the city, which makes it the ideal place to settle down : Las Ramblas and the city center are only 10 minutes by subway.

Next to this station is the Espagna Industrial Park, a former textile factory converted into a beautiful park with modern buildings and an artificial lake : the place is ideal for a walk or a picnic. You can even rent a small boat and take a walk on the water.

Football fans will be sure to visit the Camp Nou, Barcelona's famous stadium. Those who do not have the chance to watch a match from the stands can still watch it from one of Barcelona's most popular bars, Red Lion.

Shopping lovers will surely head for the main street Carrer de Sants : you will find a multitude of shops there ! Don't leave without taking a walk through the Sants Market, ideal for discovering local fruits, vegetables and other dishes. If the atmosphere of the district is rather calm and welcoming, it is also very animated : in August the festivals of Sants take place which last a whole week. On this occasion, the houses are nicely decorated, you can taste typical Catalan sausages in all the streets, drink chocolate and dance the sardana, a traditional local dance. The gourmets will appreciate this district : they will find there many Catalan restaurants, bars, and the night owls will appreciate the discotheques of the district of which the famous Space Club, very close to the station.
