A real playground for young and old, the Courchevel ski area offers holidaymakers more than 150 kilometres of alpine ski slopes for nearly 60 ski lifts. 19 green runs, 35 blue runs as well as 5 "ZEN" zones (Zones d'Evolution des Novices) which will allow beginners to learn the joys of winter sports in complete safety. Experienced riders and other ski enthusiasts can have a field day on the 34 red and 8 black slopes of Courchevel, situated between 2000 and 2700 metres above sea level. The black slopes "Jean Blanc" and "Jockeys" are essential spots for thrill-seekers who can enjoy sumptuous landscapes at the top of snow-covered peaks. The "Western Skipark" will be perfect for the little ones who will have the leisure to play Indians and cowboys in the snow, and the Family Park will be ideal to introduce you to freestyle. Courchevel 1850 has 66 kilometres of marked trails, criss-crossing the mountain pastures, valleys and spruce forests that populate the forest. You can venture on different circuits from the resort : 2.5 km long, the Loze Pass loop is ideal for beginners. The circuit linking Courchevel to Méribel Altiport will please the more experienced skiers, who will appreciate the 17 kilometres of loops crossing the Méribel valley. Sleigh rides, ice skating, ice climbing, snowboarding, snowmobile rental... The activities are many and you will inevitably find many things to do in this resort. Shopkeepers are generally very friendly with most of the products you want. Pleasant resort and absolutely superb landscapes. I recommend the restaurant "Le Tremplin" whose menu, staff and Chef are very friendly. Correct prices according to the menu. Excellent galettes de Bretagne and fresh and varied dish of the day.
