A real playground for young and old, the Courchevel ski area offers holidaymakers more than 150 kilometres of alpine ski slopes for nearly 60 ski lifts. 19 green runs, 35 blue runs as well as 5 "ZEN" zones (Zones d'Evolution des Novices) which will allow beginners to learn the joys of winter sports in complete safety. Experienced riders and other ski enthusiasts can have a field day on the 34 red and 8 black slopes of Courchevel, situated between 2000 and 2700 metres above sea level. The black slopes "Jean Blanc" and "Jockeys" are essential spots for thrill-seekers who can enjoy sumptuous landscapes at the top of snow-covered peaks. Shopkeepers are generally very friendly with most of the products you want. Pleasant resort and absolutely superb landscapes. I recommend the restaurant "Le Tremplin" whose menu, staff and Chef are very friendly. Correct prices according to the menu. Excellent galettes de Bretagne and fresh and varied dish of the day.
