Within the natural park of the Bauges massif, near Chambéry and the Bourget lake, La Feclaz offers you a privileged holiday setting. Between softwood forests and high peaks, you will enjoy all the pleasures and benefits of the mountain.
La Feclaz, the flagship resort of the Savoie Grand Revard ski area, is distinguished by the quality of its Nordic skiing site. With 150 kilometres of pistes, you can cross-country ski for long hours and learn biathlon in the stadium that hosted the French Championships in 2015. But the resort offers many other winter activities such as downhill skiing, with more than 50 kilometers of slopes, telemark, snowshoeing, ski-joëring, sledging... Ideal for families, the resort also has a space entirely dedicated to learning children where they can discover, while having fun, the basics of sliding.
In summer, green nature regains its rights and La Feclaz invites you to enjoy the fresh air in many ways. Start by enjoying the mountain pastures by taking the hiking trails that criss-cross the resort and the Bauges massif. You can thus discover the balconies of the Bourget lake, the cliffs of Doria or the fortresses of Peney. By mountain bike, go on the 12 cross-country routes of the Savoie Grand Revard plateau and test the single track, a superb route between forests and small clearings. Also discover new activities such as hiking, horseback riding, orienteering, archery, tubbing and many other sensational sports.
Take advantage of your stay in La Feclaz to visit the region's must-see sites. Go to Chambéry to stroll in the pedestrian streets of its old town and discover its rich heritage : castle of the dukes of Savoy, Saint-François-de-Sales cathedral, crypt of Lémenc... Treat yourself to a wellness day at the thermal centre of Challes-les-Eaux famous for the benefits of its sulphurous spring. Nice and pleasant little resort. Great snowshoeing, walking or cross-country skiing. Always well marked.

Stay outside school holidays and during COVID period with curfew at 6pm (January 2021): does not provide a real view of the station. Overview : very few shops (no pharmacy for example), plan to do the main shopping in the valley before your stay (sufficient extras in the resort). Vast Nordic skiing area + snowshoe trails. Seems much smaller for Alpine skiing.

No luck at that time: no bakery, grocery, tobacco or bistro shops, not even a moped! For sure: it's very quiet... Obliged to go down to Chanbery for shopping,

We advise: - the "Au Garde Manger" grocery store for holiday meals and "souvenirs to eat" : a delicacy (and very commercial) ! - ski rental at "Feclaz Sport" : good advice and a pleasant welcome !
