Just behind Brem-sur-Mer, about 20 minutes from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Les Sables-d'Olonne, the village of Saint-Julien-des-Landes has everything to please. A little set back from the coast, far enough away not to be overcrowded, but close enough to enjoy its assets and pleasures, this family destination above all has not finished surprising you.

On the shores of Lake Jaunay, Saint-Julien-des-Landes, it is above all a certain gentleness of life that is particularly pleasant for those looking for a quiet holiday. Here, one takes the time to stroll through the heart of a village with an elegant heritage, to discover an imposing neo-gothic style church dating from 1855, numerous chapels, but also... castles! Indeed, the commune has several superb castles on its territory, such as the Château de Brandeau, which today still displays several elements of its 15th century buildings. The Château de la Grangeoire rebuilt in the 19th century in the Directoire style and its remains from the Gallo-Roman period, that of La Forêt and the Château de la Bassetière will complete the inventory of the remarkable built heritage of the town.

Saint-Julien-des-Landes is also a dynamic destination, perfect for holidays that move under the Vendée sun.
