Between Les Sables d'Olonne and La Tranche-sur-Mer, Talmont Saint-Hilaire offers you an exceptional place to stay. First of all, you can take advantage of the fabulous setting of Veillon beach to swim or practice many water sports. After a few moments of idleness on the fine sand, let yourself be tempted by a walk at sea, by a course of sailing, surfing, kitesurfing or do the full sensations aboard a jet-ski or a towed buoy. To vary the pleasures, visit the 18-hole Port Bourgenay golf course, hit a few balls on the resort's many tennis courts or take your children to the playground.
With more than 100 kilometres of signposted circuits, Talmont Saint-Hilaire is also a true paradise for walkers and cyclists. During your walks, you can discover the magnificent heritage of the resort. Visit the large natural area of Le Payré. Classified as the first remarkable site of Vendée, this masterpiece of nature is organised around the Payré estuary and presents an incredible diversity of landscapes: dunes, coastal forests, oyster parks, salt marshes and fish marshes. You will also be able to observe numerous migratory birds which, each year, make their home in this beautiful setting and benefit from the knowledge of a guide for a commented visit of the port of La Guittière and the marshes.

Nice place, good location. Lots to do within an hour and a half. The beach of Veillon (10mn by car): magnificent. Les Sables d'Olonne (also 10 mn away) and a lot of activities, visits...

The Veillon beach is beautiful and is less than 10 minutes drive away. Be careful with the available places or foresee 4 euros for the car park (subject to availability too). The fishmonger "Céline and Daniel CAUDAL" on the road to the beach: we have a very good display, good value for money.
