It is on the Island of Beauty, in South Corsica, that the small village of Albitreccia is located. In the middle valley of Taravo, this commune is composed of several settlements spread out between the land and the sea, with hamlets going up to 1058 meters of altitude. Just south of Ajaccio, this quiet village made of beautiful stone houses is rich of many archeological sites inherited from the Prehistory as well as from the medieval period, such as casteddi, castles and numerous Romanesque chapels. In the village, you will discover marvelous houses in massive stones, as well as small lanes which will lead you untiringly in direction of the place of the church, a place from which you will discover incredible panoramas on the valley of Taravo! The church, with its facade and its granite rock, as well as its colorful sculptures, is not to be missed, as well as the pretty fountains that water the village's alleys.
