La Clusaz has been awarded the "Resort Classée de Tourisme" label and reserves for you, in all seasons, the warmth of Savoyard hospitality. In winter, it offers all ski enthusiasts one of the most popular ski areas in the French Alps. With 5 massifs, 125 kilometers of slopes, 49 lifts, the resort adapts to all desires : Alpine skiing, nordic skiing, freeskiing, alternative slides (snowscoot, snowskate, veloski, babysnow, yooner), paragliding, laser biathlon, sled dogs... In its snowpark, the most experienced can practice on the different slopestyle courses and children can learn freestyle in the play area reserved for beginners : the Family Run.
During the summer period, the mountain ranges surrounding La Clusaz are always as majestic and invite you to new sensations. Immerse yourself in this green setting by taking the many hiking trails that criss-cross the resort. Go down the 110 kilometres of marked trails in the mountain bike area or enjoy an amazing summer toboggan descent. Discover new activities (climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, golf, free flight) or spend some moments of relaxation within the aquatic space of the Aravis (indoor and outdoor heated pools, slides, pentaglisse, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam). But also enjoy all the sports, cultural events and free entertainment offered by the resort.
In summer as in winter, take the time to discover the village of La Clusaz which will seduce you by its authenticity. While walking along its streets, you can admire its beautiful traditional chalets, its Sainte-Foy church with its superb bulbous bell tower, its banal ovens and its numerous chapels. Then head to Annecy, 30 kilometres away, to discover its unique heritage and the timeless charm of its canals and lake. On the way, stop at a local producer who will give you all the secrets of making and maturing his cheeses (Abondance, Reblochon, Tomme) and, in the evening, taste the other local specialities : diots in white wine, perch fillet, fondue, tartiflette...
