Between Seynod and Saint-Jorioz, the commune of Sévrier is situated in a dream setting on the shores of the wonderful waters of Lake Annecy. A lakeside destination between lakes and mountains, it will satisfy snow sports enthusiasts as well as nature and water sports lovers.

At the foot of the green Semnoz mountain, in a preserved environment where valleys, sky and lake are one, Sévrier is definitely the place for you if you dream of calm and authenticity. A modern yet beautiful tourist resort, Sévrier brilliantly combines the pleasures of water, culture, gourmet gastronomy, relaxation and festivities. Labelled "France Station Nautique", the town spreads out under the astonished eyes of its visitors more than 5200 meters of shoreline, on which you will find a superb and well equipped municipal beach. From its 400-ring harbour, or its nautical base, you can, from the first sunny days, opt for a boat trip on the lake to discover its prettiest corners, especially the west coast of the lake stretching as far as Annecy. Rowing, but also paddle, fishing, diving, sailing, wakeboarding, pedal boats, dragon boats, canoes, kayaks, water-skiing, snowboarding, catamaran and other paddle yoga classes will delight water sports aficionados when those who love swimming and lazing around will be able to relax under the sun of Lake Annecy.

As far as culture is concerned, Sévrier is not to be outdone compared to its neighbours, offering many sites and monuments that have marked its history. To see? Its 19th century neo-Gothic church, its Saint-Tremeur chapel in Gothic style and its 80 kilogram bell, but also the unmissable Lake Annecy Ecomuseum and the famous Pascal bell foundry, which has been producing bells sold all over the world since 1796.

Gateway to the Bauges Massif, perched at an altitude of 456 metres, the village of Sévrier peaks at 1100 metres, offering walkers many magnificent panoramas of the fir trees and vegetation that line the gentle slopes of its mountains. We recommend that you take the cycle path that borders the lake from Annecy to Marlens, on the old railway, a path bordered by a footpath ideal for walkers and fans of early-morning football. The "Boucle de la Croix de Chuguet", the "Boucle des Fourmis", the paths crossing the Semnoz mountain, not forgetting the lakeside routes will delight nature and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Finally, the Semnoz ski resort will delight lovers of skiing and Nordic activities.
