Explore Le Corbier
Le Corbier is a ski resort located in the town of Villarembert in Savoie. It is located at an altitude of 1550 m in the heart of the Arves mountain, a mountain range that is home to many small glaciers.
Le Corbier is a station on a human scale. Its many pedestrian ways make it an ideal destination for families. Summer and winter are organized numerous activities and events. You can participate by subscribing to the "Pass'Partout", a rechargeable prepaid card that gives access to, among other things, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a gym, a spa, a children's amusement park... Many others activities are proposed and supervised by professionals like archery, paragliding, rafting, paintball or even horseback riding.
While life in the village is in full swing, some prefer to escape to taste the calm of the mountain. There are three main itineraries : the footpath that leads to La Toussuire and Les Bottières, that of Saint-Sorlin d'Arves and that of the Albiez. Guided hikes are also organized from Villarembert. The guides will make you look up to see a chamois here, a marmot. They will also awaken you to the discovery of the local flora, both abundant and fragrant.
When these rugged and rugged landscapes clothe their snowpack, it is the skiers who regain possession of the mountain. The Sybelles estate is well named. At the top of the slopes, the terraces of the three mountain restaurants are a privileged observation point to admire the immaculate slopes of the massif. The municipality set up its Charter for Sustainable Development in 2009. As a result, today, these snow-covered landscapes are among the best preserved in the Alps.
