At the gates of the Vanoise National Park, in the Haute-Maurienne, Termignon plunges you into the heart of the Alps. With 6 glaciers and 63 peaks over 3000 meters high, your desires for nature and wide open spaces will be fulfilled.
During the winter period, Termignon is a real paradise for ski lovers. In a wooded environment, the Val Cenis ski area offers 125 kilometres of slopes and 28 lifts. To learn or improve, you can enjoy the family atmosphere of the ski school and large areas reserved for beginners. If you want a more playful slide, go in one of the 2 snowparks or in one of the 2 boardercross of the domain. A few minutes from Termignon, cross-country skiers can practice their favourite sport in one of France's largest Nordic ski areas, Val Cenis Bessans (133 km of slopes), or Val Cenis Bramans or Val Cenis Sollières-Sardières.
In summer, Termignon abandons its white coat and invites you to other pleasures. Its impressive natural setting will surely encourage you to walk for long hours. You will then have the choice between walks for all, towards the Aiguilles d'Arves or on the tracks of Hannibal, and more sporting walks, towards the lakes of Valletta or the summit of Grand Galibier. By bike, the Haute-Maurienne offers no less than 11 legendary passes including those of the Madeleine and the Croix de Fer. If you prefer mountain biking, take the many circuits of the Val Cenis or join the bike parks of Bessans, Bramans or Lanslevillard. But also devote yourself to other activities: horse riding, canoeing, rafting, adventure park, paragliding...
Whatever the season of your stay, take the time to appreciate the village and its surroundings. In Termignon, discover the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church built between the 15th and 17th centuries and the Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation chapel, both listed as historic monuments. Also visit the Maison de La Vanoise, a cultural space dedicated to life in Vanoise. Then treat yourself to some escapades to the neighbouring villages of Bessans or Bonneval sur Arc, classified among the most beautiful villages in France. After your excursions, settle down in a good restaurant to taste the local specialities : fondue, tartiflette, Bleu de Termignon, blueberry pie...

Warm and welcoming inhabitants and seasonal workers ! Good table just next door at l'Escale. No fuss but home made ! Sunny terrace. Possibility to take away pizzas or pancakes. We love the great ski equipment rented from Skiset (adult children skis now).
