At the very beginning of the Var hinterland, just on the shores of Lake Saint-Cassien, lies the small village of Adrets-de-l'Estérel. Just 15 minutes from the beaches of the Gulf of Napoule and 20 minutes from those of Fréjus, Les Adrets-de-l'Estérel is the ideal place to stay and enjoy the charms of authentic Provence. Let's go !

Surrounded by the thick forests of the Estérel Massif, Les Adrets-de-l'Estérel multiplies the invitations to come and enjoy its many charms. What makes it so beautiful is without a doubt its ideal location on the edge of the Alpes Maritimes. Between the sea and the mountains, the town boasts magnificent panoramas of the Avellan and Saint-Cassien lakes, but also of the Esterel and the Côte d'Azur, from Saint-Tropez to Nice via the Lérins islands. Full of character, the village invites you to stroll along the sandstone of its old stone buildings and its shady alleys and terraces. Take the time to get lost in its high district of Planestel (which culminates at 420 metres above sea level), and then take the road that winds through the village and leads you straight to the Church district below. Here, it is the soul of the village that will dazzle you, and you will be able to revel in the splendour of the architecture of the town, made of old houses built in rhyolite, a particularly elegant local red stone. The 17th century church of Notre-Dame-des-Maures, the honey factories and beehives, but also the numerous fountains and other covered wells constitute the built heritage of the village, which you will discover as you stroll through the village.

A natural setting, bathed in sunshine at all seasons, Les Adrets-de-l'Estérel is pure Provencal charm. Overlooking the bay of Cannes and the Estérel coast road, this land of hiking makes the happiness of many walkers from the first beautiful days. There are also many hiking trails that you can walk along, notably towards Mont Vinaigre, the highest point of the Esterel, which reaches an altitude of 614 metres and offers breathtaking panoramas of the entire region. On foot or by bike, the Lac de l'Avelan is a must for your visit: a small, green, intimate and calm Eden, it is a delight for fishermen who meet there for a fishing trip, but also for families who come to walk there. The other star of your stay is the lake of Saint-Cassien: a paradise for water activities, it is the perfect place for lake swimming sessions, pedal boat, canoe or kayak trips, an introduction to rowing or paddle. Picnic, horse riding, sunbathing and hiking will complete this discovery.

Finally, the beaches of the Mediterranean will be perfect for bubbling under the sun. In Mandelieu-la-Napoule or Fréjus, surfing, paragliding, jet-skiing, scuba diving, bodyboarding, kitesurfing and other aquatic activities will be there to enhance your stay in Les Adrets-de-l'Estérel!
