Attached to the commune of Megève, the village of Demi-Quartier is located between Megève and Combloux. In the very snowy department of the Haute-Savoie, this elegant and family ski resort has something to satisfy all your desires, winter and summer.

Formerly part of Megève, now independent but still closely linked to it, Demi-Quartier spreads out between 1037 and 1780 metres altitude in the mountains of Haute-Savoie. In the heart of hilly landscapes, largely covered by thick forests, Demi-Quartier is renowned among hikers who can find, both in winter and summer, a wide network of marked trails that allow you to discover all its splendor, linking its various hamlets to Megève in particular. Its main asset is that it is home to the departure station of the Princesse gondola lift, which will take you to the immense ski area of Megève-Saint-Gervais in just a few minutes. Once you're at the top, on the slopes of Mont-d'Arbois, incomparable panoramas await you on the snowy valleys that snow lovers will not fail to enjoy. All in all, in this resort located in front of the Mont-Blanc, more than 450 kilometres of downhill ski slopes are waiting for you, mostly family slopes, but sportsmen and other thrill seekers will also find some rather technical red and black slopes in an exceptional setting. Here, skiing is authentic too, you will glide through alpine pastures, wooded valleys, fragrant firs and postcard virgin landscapes. Freestylers and snowboard fans will enjoy the modules of the Waidzai Park, which is suitable for both young and old, while more contemplative skiers can enjoy the 70 kilometres of cross-country ski trails on the Côte 2000. Snowshoes, sled dogs, ski joering and ice skating will complete your days in the heart of the mountains.

In the summer, the resort becomes an eldorado for walkers and cyclists who can hike on the Jaillet side, on the Lady des Granges path, from the Mont d'Arbois to the Mont Joux, via the Calvary Nature Trail, without forgetting to visit the magnificent Lac de Javen, the Cascade de la Belle aux Bois, the sporty Col de Véry and to follow the paths of the quiet walk of the 8 fountains and the 2 torrents.

Finally by staying at Demi-Quartier, you can also enjoy the beautiful après-ski of the Megève resort. From art galleries to antique shops, not forgetting the clothes shops, Megève is a shopping paradise! But also relaxation and well-being thanks to its Palais des Sports which has a fitness area, but also an aquatic area dedicated to swimming and water activities. While passing through Demi-Quartier, it would also be a pity not to take advantage of it to discover the gourmet flavours of Savoyard cuisine. In the town as well as in Megève, there are many restaurants and you can easily enjoy raclette, Savoyard fondue, but also tartiflette, diots, crozets, Tomme de Savoie, potée savoyarde, blueberry tart... Nothing very "diet", it's true, but it's cold in the Savoyard mountains, so you might as well warm up with some good food!
